Behind the Camera
Photographs of Nanak Dhingra · 1948–2020
For three decades he was the one behind the lens, so there are far fewer pictures of him than by him. These are the ones we have: winter mornings on the wetlands at Bharatpur, open jeeps on safari and in the Masai Mara, and the friends who stood and waited beside him.
If you have a photograph of him — from a safari, an exhibition, an evening around a camp fire — we would love to add it here. Use the form at the bottom of this page. Every picture is seen by the family first, and is shown with the name of the person who shared it.
